With the 4th running of the HiTOPS Princeton Half marathon in the books, we are now just coming up for air. What an exciting day on Sunday!
We have 4 new Course Records! Both male and female winners bested there rivials of years past, and new records were set for the most improved time for #PHM4PETE male and female runners.
1,750 registrants represented a new record number of runners.
We couldn’t have paid for day as beautiful. The fall foliage was popping, the temperature was perfect… everything was cooperating to help this iconic town and event live up to their reputations.
The race couldn’t have run more smoothly, and there were a lot of people responsible for this, but none more than our Race Director, Courtney Newman. Courtney and her team set a new high-bar for a well run event, and judging by the long list of things to work on for next year that’s hanging on the wall at HiTOPS (95% of which was generated by her, and it’s still growing), we have no doubt that the PHM will be better than ever in 2017.
